Well, i havnt posted here for a few weeks, but hey - now I have some time on my hands I guess I can turn into my old whoreish self.

As some of you may know I recently got my liscence and a 1999 Lancer MR manual 1.8l. Last night I managed to do some DIY panelbeating to it and a early 90's toyota lexcen.

The story is that I was approaching a T intersection, started to slow down - had my foot on the brakes but glanced dwon to check out the melways.. and bam - I smacked into a Toyota Lexcen with a mother and two kids in the car :? I feel pretty bad about the hwole ordeal, I had had my P's for 18 days... The main thing is that evryone is alright.

you know what they say - since its at the panel beaters you may as well get a respray in a nice Kandy colour, and install the turbo.

Hahaha. Luckily enough its only the bonnet nad bumper that were damaged (pnel wise anyways). Radiator came off pretyt bad, mashed in by the front suport bar. So thats where alot of the cost will come from.

I dont think mum would be to impressed if I propesed that we get a turbo + some swanky paint.

At least no one got hurt, and hopefully that's the only accident you have to have.

And re: mods.....I couldn't believe it, but my parents were actually pushing for a faster car for my rev head brother (not the one here on this site). Apparantly it made sense to them at the time !dodge They didn't in the end, and he ended up losing his license anyway for too many speeding fines....

it could have been much worse man - and it's always good to get these lil things out of the way early - makes you pay a lil more attention later...well - i know it worked for me -lol- My first crash was about 6mths into having my P's - cept i ran up the back of a crappy, hella-old volvo hatchback, while perving on some hot chick on the side of the road -lol-
