I might have to check it out this year. Last time I went (a few years ago) it was complete shite. I love my toys, but I was through their exhibits in about 30min.

yeah last yeah was crap, I say everything within an hour and it cost a heap to get it. The major hobby shops are there but you may as well go to the shop and save on the entry fee.

That's not too bad - most clubs around here charge 10 bucks just so you can go in and pay MORE money to have a drink -lol-

I hope they bring one to the coast...they usually do i think - but they just built a new convention centre, so it should be better this time round. I know the autosalon was HEAPS better than any others i've been to, so there's hope i guess -lol-

yeah fully - i remember an autosalon in brissy - paid 15 to get in, and walked round for 5 minutes and saw everything they had :(

best to ask ppl that went the day before to see if it's worth it...or hang outside and ask ppl coming out -lmao-

just dont go, problem solved :)

it will be the same as walking into a hobby shop except paying for the privellage.

the expo is a great way to lure new people into the hobby. some people who like motorbikes or technology will see the rc stands and go "wow cool, a new toy to play with" and either buy one there or get one after the expo.

if your going there only to look at the rc displays you will not get your moneys worth.

walk into stanbridges, such a fking nice shop and really helpful people. and !boobs

Yes this year was shit!!
$12 to get in for 1/2 an hour. More spas there than anything else.
Stanbridges, Perth Hobby, and Perth RC were there with bugger all stuff.
But good way to kill some time until my batteries recharged so i could play.

Honestly I don't know why people just don't go directly to the shop. For one, its free!

lol it was sponsored by Budget Forklifts, thats all the reason I needed NOT to go! Budget in forklifts is like Home Brand is to food.... not even my dog will eat it :)
