How are you all .

A few months back ( and i cant find the link ) someone posted a link to some hydrofoam boats that were amazing and actually drove on road , water and flew .

I mailed went through heaps of emails and links to get in touch with the designers etc with absolutely no success .

Anyway , Kingbob mentioned a classifieds link in another post about an hour ago and after surfing it for that time , i found these foamies .

If anyones interested , check them out . If anyone remembers the website for the video clip of it , please post it here as i want to see them run again .

I was looking at the hydro foams again a week ago.

"They" are selling the kits. Not HydroFoams by name, but ripped of copies cos the real ones are taking too long to come out. I think there was a guy named Red on a bunch of forums selling nice ones. Even had a coupld vids of his too (looked exactly the same).

From memory, all the kits are being sold VERY cheap cos they don't contain any electrics. So factor in buying a brushless setup and figuring out how to put it all together, which might be a chore for us car guys.

Don't look at me for links. I googled....

I'd love one - but i'm not one for building things like that -lol- well - depends how it's done...i like building car/truck kits - but dunno bout glue and wood etc etc -lol-

If someone has an rtr/f for sale i'd prolly get one if it was at the right price :)

how many channels on your radio is required to drive/fly one? 3 channel? 4 channel??

id assume youd need a 3 channel and an elevon mixer so you can mix elevator and ailerons . Then obviously throttle control .

Elevon mixers can be found on ebay for about $40 - $60 . They are becoming more popular now due to so many micro jet slope soarers hence cheaper .
