I love it.. and the sticker sheet is wild :)
Someone needs to make a "flame kit" for r/c (so flames shoot out of a side pipe or muffler when drifing hahaha.. butane soldering iron? cig lighter.. hrmmm. hahaha. i wonder if you could rig something up with a 3-chan transmitter !whistle

you could set the piezzo arc on a timer so it did it every time the valve opened on a butane bottle... bags using your car as the guniea pig tho :P
I've seen electric cars with fake smoke, using one of those "fog machine" type things

That would be awesome to get smoke/flames/sparks. Ross and myself came up with an idea but it needs a bit of workshopping though. Ill try get it done before saturday.

I thought I heard of people drilling small holes into their pvc/abs wheels then gluing in zippo flints (or similar) to create sparks.

id rather glue the flint onto the chassis so i coud get teh chassis drag effect...
but the wheels would be like blown tyres affects...

Yeah i was thinking flint but more like this:
<img src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v285/Prefix_Suffix/flintgrind.jpg" alt="Image hosted by Photobucket.com">
One on each side, spring loaded to always keep new flint in contact with the road.
whats gunna stop the spring from just pushing the flint away
Prefix Suffix
16-08-2005, 01:39 PM
the road? ok im gonna use one of the shock bodies from my old friction shocks, put a spring inside, a cap around the flint so it has something to push on then it makes contact with the road which holds it all together. I still havent quite figured it out, that was just a very quick concept.

maybe a retractable pen or a pacer pencil would work.
finding a way to replace the ink/pencil with the flint.
the road won;t hold it in there, cos what if u hit a bump.. it will just fly out..
I see that stopper there... but if you hit a bump, the flint will fully extend out... soon as it hits the road again it will just snap the flint

create a spring seat/backing plate for the flint, then it wont "fire out" of it's cylinder/holder.
I dont know how much sparkage you'd get off a flint on road/concrete anyway, and it really wouldnt last long, at all.. hrmmmm
project!
