I bought a TG10 Mk1 today (360 Modena) and have just been going through the box to make sure all the parts were there.

They are all there, but I am confused by the engine. The "tear down" diagram that is included seems to show a different engine to mine (when comparing the cooling fins and carburettor adjustments.

I am just wondering did perhaps Tamiya change the design of the FS12 engine? Or have I been given an incorrect engine? The one I have doesn't even have TAMIYA written on it.

My Engine:

What the FS12 in the pics look like:

Does anybody have any ideas?

dont worry. I got a reply eslewhere.

Apparently what I have is a OS 15CV which apparently means I got a bargain.

Yep, its an O.S. CV but by the looks of it, it has an FS12SW head on it..

Also, regarding your question on Tamiya Nitro forum, its NOT an SG shaft, it just has a shaft adaptor screwed onto the threaded shaft. You will need to remove that before you can put the flywheel and clutch on.
