just an idea

when i was judgingi found i was missing the first section due to writing the score for each lap

i was thinking maybe we have a judge for each section

ive been thinking about this too as it seems were hosting the next comp, i think that sounds like a much better idea as it would be more consistent. I think we deffinatly need judges who arent racing though.

yer, our team will be hosting next comp mid september, and pretty much all the input that can be given will be taken on board, we've already been talkin a bit about what to do with judging/scoring and as jack said we really need judges at arent racing so we will see what we can do...sections is definately preferable but as ya know when we judged the last comp it was pretty hard to judge to cars at once for 2 laps let alone multiple sections...dunno will throw around some ideas, see what we come up with and run it at the next comp. Hopefully after a few comps the drifting community will be able to find something that works really well 8)

well maybe a when a battle is on the judges watch the whole battle then judge who won at the end of it with no scores just a decision. obviously this will only work if we have battles until the final and if you can't pick a winner go "one more time" like in D1.
