I've noticed this forum leans towards a certain type of RC, and then it changes very quick...first it was 1/18 off road, then it went to 1/8 monster trucks, 1/10 buggies, and now everyone seems to be getting into drifting ;)

I want to rekindle the interest in 1/18 scale off roaders. I'm talking Mini-Ts, RC18Ts, TLT-1s, etc etc..

Lets have a bash day!!

Any ideas for when and where we can do this????

hell yeh.

How about at RYPER HOBBIES, on a sunday morning? :)

Although, for TLT owners, rock crawling would be in order, so need somewhere with something to climb up/fall off, etc. haha

hrmmm. definately keen, will bring my 'T' and crawler.. :)

organise it, sort a date and location, and we can make it a news post on the front page of this site and do a bit of promo work for it.

matto.

Need some suggestions of location first ;)

Any ideas??

I have a big plot of land behind my place but its not that great, will probably need digging and some hard back breaking labour to get it right...I know Mik068 bashes with a few of his mates often, gotta find out where they do it..

can we wait 2 weeks for my mods to arrive?
how about next door to where i live... 700sq block
with rocks and all sorts. also on the other side is a building site....
doesnt really cater for the mini-t's tho...
although the neighbourhood kids have built a wicked jump with a dirt track
the mini-t's could hack around on that

1/18's are dead and gone - too small and too much of a novelty especially when compared to larger scales....as tempted as I have been to buy one - I would never go below a 1/10 - IMO 1/10 will always be the standard - largr scales will increase in popularity and stick around rather than the 1/18's....

I'm still in. decided not to sell! ha HAAAA. you'll see it on the track, at race days :)

Honestly, if you wanna borrow mine to get yours up and running, mine is sitting there collecting dust (I havent had time to use it at all!)

James

my parts wont arrive till next week, so wont be racing it this w'end, unless I can MAKE my own chassis bracket.

to be honest I dont know if there will be 1/18th racing. I'll email an organiser, see how many entrants there are for 1/18th so far :)

Ok, instead of starting a new thread on the topic of 1/18 bashing / racing.. i thought i might revive this one if tis cool with all..

BALISTC
21-11-2005, 02:12 PM

so seriously.... when are we going to have this soooo called bash day

i have plenty of left over bricks since finishing my house... we could set a track or mountain of DEATH up very easily over the road on the vacant blocks...

if there are enought 1/18 owners to race, put up a show of hands and lets organise a race meet.

time, race track (westcoast or rypers), date. done

Not sure bout bashing with a mini-t.. it will just fall break and fall apart. a TLT, well thats a diff story ;)

Hey fellas,BUMP!!!
WE STILL GUNNA DO THIS ?
Satday arvos and sundays are my free days,
but I'd even be keen for a bash after work hours.
And i couldnt give a toss where.....When is all
that matter's?
Did have a great bash spot, but the local council
decided that it's much better too have ya kids
smash their heads in on concreet than the dirt BMX track,so they flattened it....BARSTARDS
