drift team meeting

hey all,
we were hoping to get together this weekend with yall,
and have a ho-down on the future of RC drift events/ausdrift forums&hosting
promotion of events and team 'event systems', passing on the info we have learnt
and that others have shared. we can finalize our battle event structure and chew fat
about what works for some, and doesn't for others. i for one am very interested to hear
from experienced RC event organisers, not necc just driftn. :-)

so what say ye all?
my place on a sat in the near future,
then we can head down to the local
D spot and cut some linkage.

format:
we will host the bevvies & bangers, and have an open discussion with each team
delegated the 'talking stick'.

location:
3 McRae Court, Padbury....map to follow, if loc ok.
time: 7-8pm meeting, 8:15pm-??? drifting.

lemme know about a good time, or a better location if need be
to accomodate ppl far away.

like those interested turn up an hour early and stroll to a pub for a beer or pepsi and discuss it before a meet?

saves having some of the less sociao of us pissing in your lounge room... RC_King stylez... !silly

all sounds good. im forming my routine trips to perth around the coming drift sessions :D

so every 2nd week im hoping to get to a battle or drift day.

hopefully that will also tie in with the meeting somewhere along the lines :D

hey mitch sounds like a great idea, i think most of us were thinking that we needed to get the community to sit down and try and work out a common judging system and battle organisation to run the events each month so it all became more official.
I'll definately be there, just tell me when! Our team is gunna have a bit of a practice tomorrow nite and i will show them what ive done so far in regards to the next battle for mid September and i will bring along everything we have come up with so far to the meeting and then everyone can contribute so the next battle may be the trial run of the first RC-D1 Battle for W.A. !super
Ive already taken onboard some of the ideas that members have come up with and added in some of our own ideas as well, so hopefully we can get something really awesome cranking! 8)
Sponsors are a great idea and hopefully we can present something to the local Perth hobby stores and other larger sponsors to see if they are interested in hopefully supporting the drift scene as it is really beginning to take off! !lmao
Anywho ive rambled, i get excited about these things so will just look forward to the meeting and will be great to see ya all again! :D
