Is it just me or has anyone else noticed that mini drivers are starting to sell their mini's and retire. Once they get all blinged and suped up they suddenly sell the lot first BB now james and others i hear.

Whats with taht

is it just the lack of competion or the fact that it isint taken seriously??

comments?

The problem is that no-one except a couple of us ever take them to races. At the Bombshell, James and I were the only 1/18ths to compete, despite there specifically being a class for them. Loads of people have them but they never bother to bring them. Why would people keep a car that no-one races, thats what it comes down to.

I sold mine ages ago cos it was too hard to find a place for it to run nicely. Not to mention races were constantly being cancelled.

Kingbob, most people who play with rc's DON'T race and still have fun.

maybe i should make BB happy and buy a maxx? :P

Anyone want a suped up 18t with almost enough spares to build another FT one? (just need shaft, shocks, upper deck and turnbuckles and you have another one. has ali arms/hubs/steering/heatsink/cvd's(with spares)/shocktowers/rcscrewz/all sorts of bling. Pic in a gallery here somewhere is almost total, has ali gearboxes now. Has about 5 sets of tyres, 8k mamba, batteries, heaps of spares additional to the almost extra one (pinions from 9 to 20). I'll even include a saber radio i have spare, it'll be a runner, you'll just need a charger. Even has 2 painted bodies, 1 unused, and 2 unpainted proline crowd pleazer bodies

Offers?

Meh, I love my Mini-T and I'll be keeping mine for some time now ;)

I enjoy just going out on my own sometimes and having a bash, so the appeal hasnt worn off for me, although the time factor sure has :(

yeah - i bailed mine for same reasons as justo - not many places to run it - and where i could run it - the track wasn'
t really smooth enough for it - and plus - i like to bash - and the 't was just too small for what i wanted....I'll stick to my 1/8 and 1/10 for now i think :)

decided not to sell mine. i've spent too much on it to let it go this cheap, i'll keep racing it... it will be at all race meets where there is a 1/18th class... :)
