I've got one, best thing since sliced bread. Can almost put it in your pocket and use anywhere you like. An R/C you can't help but have fun with, easpecially with the Mamba 6800 in it. Anyone that takes R/C racing way too seriously should be forced to have a brushless mini-t. You just can't take it seriously, and it brings the biggest smile to everyones face when they see it go.
i have one...but its up for sale. they are fun but the novelty wares off.

Mini infrno brushless and rc18t brushless..both need a good run for Inferno never has even been tested with brushless......
i have one and with nice new mods.....
i wouldnt swap it for anything
even for a million dollars?
Rumour is that James has now sold his Mini T ...
I don't think I can sell mine for a long while. The money put into it you can't even get near 50% of it. Might as well just keep it. I'm sure couple years time, I'll go into my room and find it after storing it away for a while, charge the batteries up and watch the brushless rip. BIG GRIN!! Though may only last a few minutes, it's a good "out the front your house" fun
hrmmm..... million dollars...
might be tempted but prolly not... HAHA
but after the money i just put into it....
and james decided not to sell it? didnt he?
especially after the 'custom' chassis mods... !lmao
heh, a dickie bird told me that its sold. you'll need to confirm with him of course, "i know nuttin'"

The look on everyones faces at the local track is priceless as the T rips it up.

Yup still have my minis. Brushless RC18FT, MQ roller, and VMG roller. Might have to do something with those rollers. Get myself a mini army.
Still haven't got around to having a proper race on the track me and my friends built a few months back. Damnit.

I have a Mini-T with a few hop ups:
Venom Fireball motor
Bearing kit
CVDs
Oil shocks
And I now have an RC18T with the lot:
8000kv brushless and mamba esc
plenty of alloy and bling
Heaps of rims and tyres
(it was KingBobs old ride) 8)
After having a couple of clod rock crawlers (still have my TTS-XC Clod) it is sooo different running 1/18ths :p

And the fact it came with enough spares to start a hobby shop was a bonus !lol

Mmmmmmm, I dunno yet...I'll see how these Mini LSTs pan out..
What aftermarket chassis' are available for TLTs??
James

a few. the Tamiya carbon fibre chassis, or the Penguin P2300 chassis (carbon fibre) which is the one i want :) Penguin lowers the centre of gravity with different mounting options and is light weight.
tamiya is nearmost the same as the original chassis but WAY lighter :)
its nothing like the original chassis

I still have my Mini T, never use it anymore. It needs a new servo and I'm too lazy to go get one. I also have an anderson MR4 which is an awesome drifter. I would love to get a mamba for the mini t but I can't justify the expence with my limited use, of course if I found one second hand going cheap I wouldn't say no.
why not turn the mini t into a mini drifter?
Project 1 - Decepticon "unnamed" F-150 Mini-T Full Alloy (ongoing project)
Project 2 - Autobot New Jazz Porche Micro RS-4 (Stock for now cept for 6 cell AA's)
Pictures coming soon!
Ok Ok, found an old pic of the T in project status...the option parts have grown a bit since then !devil

The RS4 is shell-less at the mo, still waiting for electrics!
