I did something years ago with my original hornet... put drawing pins through the back tyres then duct tape them. Arced it up on concrete and it sounded like a V8 car!

I'd say this would work very very well on ice...if you've ever seen an ice bike (sort of like speedway bikes, but on ice), they have metal studs in their tyres exactly like that..

Apparently back in the day there was a whole group of Hotshot owners who did this in Sydney and raced at the local ice skating rink !!!!!

Ha ha ha - Citrus I have been very tempted - it would be insane with some of the power r/c's have now compared to the mid 1980's !!!!!!!!! :-)
