I'm pretty tempted to pick up a nitro monster truck, mainly for hardcore bashing, and AIR. there's a lot of housing development around my place, with masssive open dirt area's, multi level block's, limestone walls, etc... ideal for monster action.
I love Losi gear, and the LST is just insane. It'd be neat to see one in action though... I guess it's either the LST or a Savage. Thing is, I dont really need the radio gear that comes with the LST (as they are ready to run).. i guess I could flog it off..
I found an ebay auction for a brand new LST, it has JR XS3 radio gear, which I thought was strange, coz they normally come with XR3i?
the building of a new track south of the river in the kwinana area is also tempting me to buy nitro. hah. I've never owned a nitro, I guess I'd be keen to fiddle.
I know there are LST owners here... hurry up and convince me :) and what about a HPI Savage? cheaper.. hrmmmm.

yeh just curious.. plus with this new kwinana track being not far from me.. hrmmm. I'm thinking a nitro monster truck would also be easier to work on than a nitro buggy...

James - be careful on ebay with nitro trucks sold new - I have seen posts on either ausrc or rcracer telling of how people have taken the money and run....(obviously this is always a risk tho).....
As for my opinion I dont know anything about nitro except from what I have read there seems to be more Savvy's out there than LST's....

mmmm. e-maxx is another option. elec, can run at the tracks i regularly frequent, etc. hrmmm haha
Thats like buying anything on ebay.... Always check the sellers feedback, thats what its there for...

there's just something awesome about the LST, could be the fact that it's insanely massive.. those shocks give me wood. !bow

As hes already stated hes up for bashing with a nitro...that takes the emaxx and buggies oput of the eqasion..
As you know im a savage mad freak and have 2..yes im bias but i still say the savage is stronger...However if its a losi your after then i know some1 who has a near new LST for sale..at a great price..and he would sell without radio gear if not wanted..
Hes in perth.but moving soon !!

You also have to race your shell in one round to enter it into concourse. Will it be legal for that?

Should be Pom. Last time I actually read the WAORMA rules (ages ago) it was as long as the chassis was covered.
I will have to read them again to be sure :)

so did anyone have any luck getting one of theses quad covers they look cool, especially with stunt men on them.
I have a homer simpson thing that would be about the right size - everytime you crash or roll you can literally say - doh!

James........Go the LST man I was out with mine yesterday and I was pulling some insane wheelies from just off idle even 20m wheelies from Quarter throttle. I have just under 4l of Nitro through my LST and it is really starting to wake up and get going hard!! I was impressed with it before and now I am thrilled with it. If you ever wanna see one in action let me know and we can hook up for a bash. I paid $925 for mine about 2-3 months ago and I love it.....one of the best trucks on the market....the best straight from the box.

Also on lstcentral.com or rcuniverse.com (LST forum) don't beleive half of what you read as they are yanks and encounter some different problems to what we do in AUS....but at the same time a lot of useful information.
James those pics are the hilarious. I can't get my eyes off them just picturing it fanging around the track. Giving me ideas
