Firstly does anyone else have one of these... i did a search and found that matt HAD one...
I have a problem with mine atm...
Since i soldered the deans plug on the charger it dont seem to be charging the battery packs.
Basically there are 3 lights on the charger
Power - Ready - Charge
now when i plug it in the power light comes on... good
Then once i plug a battery pack in the ready light starts flashing... and about 10 seconds later the charge light starts flashing as well.
Previously the power light would be on... once a pack connected the charge light would be permantly on and once charged the ready light would come on.
I have checked and double checked the solder job. and ive got the negative and positive correct.. i just cant figure it out... and its annoying me cause i cant use my buggy.
Cheers guys!

i even thought i may have put the polarity wrong... but not from what ive been taught about electronics...
the wire with the white line on it on the charger is negative right?
buggered if i know...
the wire with the white line is positive.

matt that must just be for that charger?
universally the cable with the line on it is negative...
anyhoo, i just swapped the cables over... still flashes... should i just leave it and see what happens...??? or unplug it and pull the charger apart tomorrow and see if its got a fuse of somthing in there
my last suggestion is to get a voltmeter on the end of the line and see what is going on. get readings before the battery is on (should jump from 8 to 14 volts and be very random) and do it with the battery on (should start around 8volts and pulse up and down all the way up to a full charge)
if it doesnt do this, maybe its nuked? my unit never flashed, the lights were only ever on or off.

no luck yet bro. have the charger here at work today. going to test the voltage as matt suggested, as well as pull it apart and check the fuses if they have any. ill keep you updated bud.
I got an email back from the makers(germany) basically told me to email the aust distributers in melb...

pulled the charger apart there was no fuses inside.. and its still not charging. I guess ill just have to wait on advise from the distributers.

well... the trouble never stops... lol, charged the batteries... first one... fine.. second one started making a bubbling/boiling sound after about 10 mins... took it to the shop.. its rooted.. the guy had none of the same batterys there so he gave me the nearest thing.. a venom 3000 pack... worth twice as much as the ones i originally bought... woot.
I havent put it in the car yet, but the other battery pack once i put it in the car and connected it... turned the car on... NOTHING. dammit, now i gotta find out wtf is wrong with the car. fun and games hey...
youre frying batterys now because the wire with the white line is positive.
