I took this info from a post on another website, i'll have to check it out one day but I thought someone on here might live up that way or have other info to add etc.
Its in Mundaring area, read on:
Basicly it's a hike out there but because i,ve mtb out there i know of a few tracks that you wouldn't find but even in the lower car park you will have a ball.
When its wet it would be water every where you will also have to watch out for downhillers as they can come through there at a great rate of knots....
But in saying that there are 3 main d/h tracks plenty of track for us to "bash" with out getting in the way of others all the W/A runners.
Basically head out to Mundaring then turn left and head out to the dam just after the round about slow down and turn left into a large dirt carpark area with lots of single track running every where - if there are cars in the lower park you will hear pushbike chains clanning as they come down the hill....
sounds like you want to take plenty of fuel or batteries to make the trip worthwhile
