Whats with The Quakka

I was looking in the Quokka for the last 4 weeks to see any Bargains but today i noticed alot of Savages in there,,Is it me or does anyone else notice people ADD what they pay for a truck times 2 then try to sell it for 100dollars less than what it really cost ..then say its Like New..Not Cheap or im just so cheap im looking for everything basically for FREE.

Yep correct there buddy..its like a lot of gear there.. it cost nothing to list it so throw it in and if you get a sucker..so be it.
Believe it or not there are people out there who dont do there research and getted sucked in.

There are a LOT of people who pay stupid prices for RC because they dont know any different....an example is those who pay massive dollars for those Holden and Ford nitro RC cars.

When I see someone using one of those, I always ask them what chassis it is...and most cases I get an answer like "Yeah mate its a Holden".

When they say that, I know they paid way too much for it :)

Yeah , i love the " My mates remote car " stories , i know this sound stupid but everytime we go to a party and i know there are going to be people there that i dont know , i always bring the 1:5 scale F1 car ive got and im not talking a little toy , were talking proper 28cc Zenoah , disk breaks with bias control , ABS sensors in the wheels , 0 - 100kph in 4 seconds flat ( if you can grab the traction ) .

In most cases i get talking bout rc and theres always someone there that either has a car that raves on about it or knows a mate with a car so i tell them " oh , i was out racing mine today , its still in the back of the 4WD cause i just came home showered and didnt have time to take it out , you wanna have a look ? " Then i turn into the mate they tell their mate about ... hehe .

I put my Kyosho RC Nitro in the Quokka, lots of bloody dreamers about, and I even put a HSV shell on it! Same stupid kid rings EVERY WEEK, thats the most annoying.

My example is there is a Savage 4.6 with Airtronics MX3 JUST BROKEN IN AND HE SAYS HE PAID 1200 DOLLARS AND WONT TAKE A PENNY LESS THAN 800, I CALLED HIM[rEALLY NICE GUY] but i just bought one for 650 and radio is 200 all new ...same thing .....Ifell 600 is alot for second hand 4.6 never mind 800..correct me if im wrong ...

Also remember, a lot of people who sell through the quokka don't realise how the prices of their items have changed since they bought them. I can understand someone wanting 800 for something they spent 1200 on, he probably doesn't know that Savage 4.6's have had a couple price drops since he bought it.

Not to mention, a lot of people are just ignorant and don't know how much they *could* buy stuff for online.
