is whiteman park a puddle at the mo? I'm still keen to get nitro MT and race... what MT's are most people running? savage? I'm thinking the LST could be too big/hard to setup for racing, dunno...

u wanna compete and win ?? truggy style would be best MT . ladder frame chassis dont seem to handle as good , even my revo could be improved .. if i was serious id get a ttmaxx with jt hybrid chassis ( buggy style ) or id build up and buggy ( eg ofna or similar with correct gearing MT tyres/rims )

James, sly is right regarding truggies. They will mostly dominate in a race, but you may wanna hold off just a lil longer.

Martin Wolhuter is in the process of setting out the rules regarding monster truck racing in sanctioned events in Australia. When talking to him not long ago, he probably won't have it done till he's finished racing 1/8ths over in Sydney at the end of the month.

When & if truggies, MT's & open class trucks are separated into there own individual races, this may influence your decision on what truck to get.

Truggies are all out race bred machines and you may not want to go bashing with these too often. If you want a truck that you don't mind doing both racing and bashing (like myself), then an alternative may be more suited.

Not saying truggies won't be good to bash with, but spending $$$ setting it up for racing, the last thing I wanna do is something stupid with it. Truggies are light weight missiles compared to my 12+ kg Savage which takes a f@#king beating when I take it out for a hack.
That LST is huge but like you said could be too big. When whiteman is finished with a bigger track, it might be alright. I think the revo is a damn good contender on the track and it's always the one I'm chasing. Have a look at the Tamiya TNX as well but as you are a LOSI man.......

dlux, cool cool, yeh I guess something I can bash as well, so definatly want full blown MT, with the ability to alter settings and throw some small pin's on it for racing. see what happens... getting more and more tempted. hehe

Hey Dlux is Whiteman up for a test drive yet? Whats going on down there? Let us know cheers Scott

So they should change the way the MT's are raced why would you have truggies against true MT's? It's like pitting a supercar against a HQ it's stupid....Truggies should race other Truggies not think they are $hit hot for beating a true MT they are playing with them selves if they think they are good for beating a MT like the Savage or LST!

Scott I haven't been up there for couple of months. But last I was there slylux was breaking in his buggy. So it was till OK to run around but was very rough. Right now I think we could get a couple of girls in bikinis and make our own mud wrestling vid. !super

yes agree dlux ,no truggy's should be a full truck , as u saw from bunbury interclub earlier this year , u ran savage and i run my revo for first time but the winner was a truggy .. ( i won the first race and got 2nd , and a dns .. ) didnt u get 2nd or 3rd for the day .. either way .. stick with trucks .. not hard to setup for track , then u can bash on weekend .. nothin more fun than bashing trucks !! ps just got another revo today .. got the bolt in rb23 .. goes hard , and sweet electric start too

Answer 1: Elanor from Gone in 60 seconds. It was a different car in the movie but it was a muscle car and just looking at my truck one day, that name just came into my head. Everyone says I've lost it (in the head) but then when they look at it with the elcamino body, they agreed it suited it.

Answer 2: That was my friends doing when I wasn't there. There was a bit of trash talking that nite, "Mines better, no mines better, mines faster, no mines faster blah blah blah" So he decided to show me whose King. !bow
