Ok I have decided to tinker with these things again, now I have a bit more patience and stuff.
1. How do I adjust the steering on these things. I have the controller adjustment at full tilt right, but it still has some liking to go left, I could use another 5 or 6 notches in the controller to get it straight, can I manually adjust the servo like in my 1:10?
2. What sort of glue should I use on the foam tyres, my 02 gets up to such a speed that the tyres come off the rims!
3. These metal "hop up" parts, are they worth my time?
4. Where do I get a driver for alloy wheel nuts?

1. Yep, there is a POT with a silver screw on the radio board. Just adjust that with the car turned on to adjust it.
2. I would try a VERY small amount of normal superglue. Just enough to make a thin film on the rim and put the foam over the top.
3. No. Unless you like bling or find yourself breaking a particular part often.
4. Ask me nicely ;). I thought the 02 came with a white cylindrical nut driver that suits the smaller alloy nuts? I've got a few lying around at home anyway.

Yeah thats what I have, the white thing, but I was told they don't suit the Alloy nuts. Will try the other suggestions tonight, thanx

That's all I use. It is a bit lose but I just angle the driver slightly to take up the slack.

small drive on a socket set will do it - that may sound stupid - but my elcheapo set had one that fits :-)

But that would be too easy :)
I never even thought about that. It seems overkill to use a tool that is bigger than the car!

Sorted the steering out, didn't even have to take the board plate off as I could get to it via the ventalation hole. Glued the rear tyres, note to self, don't use loctite next time! Whats my best pinion for top speed? Will a metal pinion aid me any?

Use the highest tooth pinion for top speed but dont forget to change the motor spacer (thinner) to accomodate for the larger OD or the pinion gear.
I have some 1/18th metal pinions (12/13/14) tooth and they are great. You have to be careful though because the higher tooth puts more strain on the engine.
