electric: 2wd is more popular than 4wd

from what ive seen out there, 4wd electric is dead in the arse and 2wd 0wn3s bigtime and is very very popular. does anyone know why??

Probably because 2wd is harder to control. I think they started with 2wd because the motors were underpowered and the tires provided enough grip. 4wd would have just added weight and given the car grip it didn't really need.

Maybe just to make it difficult and challenging for the drivers?

My understanding towards the art of drifting was that the 4wd onroads were to go over the rwd option...

4 wheel looks better but you need for skill/power to do it.

2 wheel drift is heaps easier.
