Hey everyone,

Finally got around to taking some pics of my pride and joy..

It had a massive crash about 2 months ago, and since then I havent had the heart to even look at it, so bad was the damage.....I accumulated some bits and pieces, sifted through my mountain of spare parts and dug out what I needed, and I've finally got it back together. Its still a little dirty, but you get the idea :)

Even though the class doesnt exist in this country, I've built it to be competitive in the 1/10 outlaw sport class.

Even though the V-One RRR has been released, and is the current king of touring cars in its class, the V-One RR Evo is still the car to beat in the Outlaw class. This is mainly due to the orientation and design of the body mount setup, which is suited to outlaw shells, and is identical to the body mount setup on 1/8 scale cars.

Here are the mods and work I've done to it.

Sirio Evo 2 5 port .12 outlaw engine
HARD Racing Shark outlaw pipe
Novarossi manifold
Kyosho Team "Takaaki Shimo" Worlds chassis plate
Kyosho Team graphite upper deck

I've also got LOTS of 3 Racing bits on it, including:
Front upper arm mounts
L and R side Chassis stiffener
Slotted brake disc
Aluminium roll bar (much higher than stock, to protect the head on the Sirio)
Graphite Front A Arm plate
Graphite shock tower
Graphite front bumper plate
Alloy hex hubs
Low CG Heat sink engine mounts
Rear shock tower
Brake bar
Alloy pulleys
Reinforced belts
Rear body stay
Rear upper arms

It runs a 1/10 Lola Can-Am shell, but unfortunately it wasnt available for the photos...it also runs Speedmind foam tyres and disc wheels front and back.

I'll try and get some photos of it with the wheels and shell on soon.

Oh, I'd like to thank Andy AKA mc68 for selling the car to me in the first place..

Before I got this car, I was a Tamiya nut, and I always vowed never to sell my TG10R because I thought it was the best car around....when I saw this thing, I needed to have it!

It started life as a Kyosho V-One R, and was converted to Evo spec by Andy....I then bought it off him, complete with a worn out Novarossi RS12 3 port, and upgraded it to RR spec, Sirio Evo 2, and the rest of the gear. I dont think any parts on the car are from when Andy owned it, because I even replaced many of the standard parts with nicer looking ones (yes, I'm a perfectionist) ;)

Heaps of cars have come and gone from my RC collection, but this one will stay......its my favourite car, and I never want to part with it :)

That is one of the tidiest tourers i have ever seen!

How do the Sirio's go?

The Sirio's kick arse!!

The 5 port in my car has 1.6HP and 43000rpm, and it loves to rev!

The previous model Sirio didnt have much bottom end torque, but the Evo 2 seems to have heaps of it, as well as an unbelievable top end rush, especially when it clicks into 2nd!!!

This is the same motor that Kyosho won the recent World Championships with, in their V-One RRR, but they used the 3 port version with 1.52HP and 41000rpm..

I've used heaps of motors, and this one is better than any motor in its price range.

Only downside is in the tuning.....its not easy, I wouldnt recommend it to a beginner, as the 3 needles can be a bit complicated !dodge

It's a fail safe.

If a nitro car loses radio signal it will hold its last known setting. Usually this it WOT heading straight towards a wall.

The failsafe sends a preset setting to the receiver if signal is lost i.e. FULL BRAKE U STUPID MOFO ALPHA 3 !!!111!!1

BALISTIC: is your GWS unit any good? I noticed one of the OCAU sponsers are selling them for $23. Probab;y a good investment for me.

I run the GWS in my Savage and my RR Evo, and one time it saved my ankles when the receiver battery on my savage died just as i went WOT...definitely worth the 23 bucks!
