Might as well get this thread started, seems this event is scheduled for four weeks from now!

October 27 - WAORMA Challenge - West Coast (bayswater track)

Wondering what the classes and schedule is, how many points does the event bring..

and when can I head to bayswater to help prep the track :) cant wait to race at west coast again!!! pumped!! !lmao

Yeah I know very little about it, maybe BB might know the deal there. If you go to the WAORMA website it gives you a brief rundown, so I have no idea.

I've thrown some emails back and forward to Peter, it's an invite only event, although the email wasnt detailed, I'm thinking it's like an OPEN style class event, stock and truck will be support classes, invitations will be extended to the top 20 drivers. (I guess based on WAORMA points).. that counts me out. haha

I'll go to watch/help if not racing... should be great for a look, and some pics/vid...

WAORMA Challenge

This anual event was previously known as the WAORMA Invitational and is hosted by the previous years State Chapionship host club. The event is for open class drivers and entry is by invite only. The WAORMA committee invite the top ten drivers in the state to enter by the two wheel and four wheel drive classes. The drivers can accept an invite for one or both classes. Other drivers are invited to fill any vacancies so that we have the top 10 drivers in both classes racing. Stock classes and trucks are also run at this event as support races.



32. WAORMA CHALLENGE (Rules from WAORMA Rule Book)

32.1. This event will be held at the track where the previous year's State titles were held.

32.2. Entry to be via invitation only to the top ten drivers in the state as determined by the WAORMA Executive Committee.

32.3. There will be one qualifying round and three final rounds for the Invitational.

32.4. Removal of WAORMA Challenge Perpetual Trophies from Western Australia is subject to either a returnable deposit of $150 or personal guarantee from either a resident of Western Australia or a State Association Executive Committee member

32.5. The Challenge races will be open class motors only. Other motor classes will only be able to participate as support races to the main event..

32.6. The will be one qualifying race only and it will be a staggered start

32.7. The best two out of three finals to be counted with ties to be broken in same way as State Titles

32.8. All finals will be a grid Start.

32.9. Cross entry between two open classes permitted.

32.10. Entry fee $15.00 per Open class

32.10. Entry fee $6.00 for all other classes.

waorma calendar says 27th oct, but that cant be right, it's mid week... so i guess the w'end before or after that..
