OOooooooooooow I'm barring up just thinking about it. Thought I'd share my excitement with you guys about this up coming event at the end of this month.
WARCMCC are hosting this years Nationals and I think we've got around 50 entries in, and I think thats just in the 200mm tourers. Put my entry in already and have been preparing for this for a few weeks now. I've only raced on road 4 times and this is the biggest event I've entered while in RC.
Ordered myself an RB V12 "Rody" modified 3 port (which Ashley Whittakers ol' man Johnny talked me into getting) couple of weeks ago..........and it's on BACK ORDER IN THE STATES!!! NOOOOOOOOOOOO. I was hoping to get it in last week so I could break in the engine before The Presidents Cup tomorrow. So I went and got myself an OS .12 TZ(P) 3 port which will be my back up engine (if the Rody gets here B4 Nats). I'm breaking in this missile as I type (oh the smell of nitro) for tomorrows racing. Hope I qualify for the finals which goes for 45mins.
The Nats go from Thursday 27th thru till Sunday 30th. So I'm taking Thursday and Friday off. 4 DAYS OF RACING.............YEAH BABY!!!! I'm going to be buggered after each day, and probably have a lung full of toxins too. There hasn't been a day in the last 3 weeks that I haven't thought about and preparing for this day. Just running thru my head if something goes wrong, am I prepared for it? Have I got things covered? Is my car and running gear all legal? Will I have enough fuel and batteries? Whose gonna get my lunch?
Anyways, off downstairs to break that baby in some more
