Hi peoples

Ive been into 1/8 Nitro MT for a while now and am looking at the prospect of getting into 1/8 Electric buggies. Just wondering about your recommendedations as a good place to start. I most likely be bashing most of the time with the occasional the occasional trip to the track at Rypers.

Also any recommendations for a good starting point in dorifto would be nice. !burnout

The only 1/8th electric buggie I know of is custom made.

Id like to but my driving skills are a little lax at the moment. A bit more practice and I'll give it a bash next season for sure. Just want to give EP a crack aswell.

You can get 1/8 electric on-roads....a few obscure European manufacturers build them, and they go HARD, but I havent seen any 1/8 electric buggies.

yepp.

hey one thing that i hear often is people say "my driving isnt good, i dont want to race". im not quite sure what the general perception is but a race meet doesnt involve people watching you like a hawk and making you feel like shit if you dont do well. infact, taking West Coast Model Rally Club as an example, the novice class has around 8+ racers each meet and its an excellent place to start because there are no expectations on you.

i would go as far as saying that if anyone laughed or mocked you while racing that it would be considered as being disrespectful or not good sportsmanship.

if you or anyone reading this post wants to start racing but just cant get to the initial point of having to walk up to a stranger to ask where to go to sign up, or ask a stranger at the track how a race meet works, then send me a PM and i'll meet up with you BEFORE the race meet and we will arrive [u]together] at the track and you can pit with me for the entire meet.

the doors are wide open here, PM me.

Damn thats inspiring. Word for word I agree with every lil thing that Matto just posted. Remember. we all started some where and I'm almost 100% sure that we all have at some point said exactly the same thing.

The only 1/8 buggies i'm aware of (that you can buy) you'd have to go to 2 places, and it'd cost you alot of money -lol- You'd need a roller, then you'd need to buy a conversion kit from germany - then you'd need elecs etc -lol-

The 1/10 buggies would be a much better option for you i think - especially if ur just kinda testing the waters :)

IMO - the 1/10 buggies just dont have the bashability i like - but if you plan on racing, they're all u'll need :)
