hi guys, sorry to be a noob here, but we all gotta start somewhere ;)

Im near the completion of my Mini-T project... and would like some expert advise on gearing: !bow

I decided to keep my Trinity Monster Off Road tyres and would like to know what the proper gearing size (spur and pinion) is to run them. Currently im running stock Mini-t pro spur and a 14 tooth pinion with the stock Mini-t pro motor.. Is this ok? What do I need to change if not?

Sorry if this has been covered somewhere else...

check out gearing chart between b4 and t4
and xxx and xxxt and see what the difference is and use about the same difference on the T is about all I can think of???

Or you could just drop a few teeth on each and see how you fair with temps? -lmao-

hehehe - how does it go heatwise at the moment? - i'd say drop maybe 2 teeth on the pinion, and add one on the spur - i know it's not the same - but i did that with my mamba, and seemed alright? -lol- So long since i ran that lil bugger.

i think i recall running the regular dual slipper/spur with a 12t pinion with my mamba.. was plenty fast. :)

I run an 18T with the LiPo's and Mamba, and it goes just fine ;)

I normally use a 14T but it pulls hard wheelies and it tends to balloon the rear tyres and flip the car sideways
