You can never have enough rc cars so i've asked my favorite person in the whole wide world (Santa) to bring me a Monster truck for christmas as i don't have one (monster beetle & bruiser dont really count)
Seems he has answered my wishes and he's bringing me a HPI Savage 4.6 SS

Talking to a guy who has just started a hobby shop in a neighbouring town he has also started Monster racing.

Being a on road guy mainly, i have no idea about off road set ups.
Anyone here able to give some pointers?

get around the track as fast as possible , dont break anything , try not to crash ..( this loses valuable time .. ) whiteman park has a monster truck class we are trying to grow in numbers .. get down there .. bust some laps !!

ahh just noticed .. where the hell is cowra?

Long way from you. In NSW. So don't think you'll see me anytime soon.

Im generally pretty good with the no crashing idea. When racing here i usually start last (on purpose) let everybody sort them selves out (wipe eachother out on the first corner) then just cruse past and try to keep the same gap the whole race. Never push to increase my lead.

I guess i'll stick to that plan worked for me so far. And worked for my Cousin (ex 1/12th on road Australian champ)
