Hey Guys,
Got myself a Kyosho Inferno MP-6 to start out with. Pulled it down, repacked the diff's and wheel bearings etc, cleaned it right up.
Need a new glow plug and battery had problems idling without the battery hooked up to the glowie. Hope to get that sorted today.
Neways, here are some pics.

THanks mate. Yeah, itll take a while for me to learn how to tune it properly. Dad is a big help he's from the carby days haha. Been reading heaps on the net, but come unstuck with the glow plug.
I'll def bring it over on the weekend to hack up if i get it running :)
lok at the size of that thing, thats unreal. plenty of tread on those tires, she looks like she is in good nick in the pics. but man! that muffler pipe on the end of the exhaust is real close to the fuel line hey.
Foo that fuel link you're seeing isn't for fuel, it's an air pressure line that comes from the exhaust to help push the fuel through. They don't have fuel pumps and this is an alternative.

I thought it was a fuel return line for unburnt fuel as these things run pretty rich.
The venturi effect is what draws the fuel out of the tank, it doesnt require any help at all. It has a fuel primer that primes up the fuel lines b4 you start it.

Very nice!!!!
That looks a lot like my Inferno DX, but obviously with a few more hop ups to make it MP-6 spec...

BroG is correct, the venturi is what pulls the fuel through the carb, but the line running from the pipe to the tank forces exhaust into the tank to keep it pressurised and help the fuel flow better. It can run without it, but would need to a lot richer to keep temps down.
MrOrange, if you have that much fuel coming out the pipe you need to dial it in a little more, it's running too rich. You should expect a little big of fuel / oil to make it's way through, but not so much that you have a return line for it.
