It turns out none of the committee members will be able to make it to the track as we all have xmas/work functions. Since no-one else has keys, we're going to cancel tonights racing.

Instead, we'll have it on sunday, since we're all going to be there for the AGM anyway.

Would everyone like the racing to start early (9ish) or after the AGM 91ish)? It will still be a free race day, and there will still be a BBQ.

I was on the blower when you posted the message

I have arranged the Keys, nomination float and Canteen floats.

There will be drinks tonight but no hot food by the looks.

Matto - Can you run the computer and drivers meeting please?

Is anyone able to swing past a supermarket on the way in and buy pies/sausage rolls? Keep the reciept and get the cash back from the float BB has.

Depending on how many people turn up, 3 or 4 packs(6) of pies, and 2 packs(12) of sausage rolls.

im going to change the topic else its going to distract people.

KB, when the club finds gets into this situation, you've always got the support of the regulars.

all sorted, we have an oven thing there, and Helen runs the canteen for us.

we would probably need 30 sausage rolls and 30 pies at my guess? maybe kingbob can suggest what qty's to get.

key thing is to get the receipt when you buy them!

You guys think it's a joke that we mention transponders every week, but you're forgetting one little detail.

We HAVE TO mention it because despite saying it EVERY week, people still ALWAYS take them back to the pits, or take them home!

matt, BB thanks for showing me the ropes guys, thoroughtly enjoyed myself tonight.

!bow

Well I must have spoken too soon about not breaking any parts... !amazed

BB, I found out what went wrong with the BK2. My diff gear melted!! eek! (which explains the gradual slower speed till the final konk out in the final heat! lol

I came down to 3 conclusions:
1. It was on its way out from the previous driver driving it hard
2. Wrong type of grease causing too much heat

or

3. overtightened diff

check it: http://members.iinet.net.au/~akyapp/rc/melted.jpg

!lmao

oh well, now Ive got an excuse to get the Ol B3 dirty hehehe
