Well, Matto, BroG and myself went down to Ryper to have a play.
fun fun fun. Matto had the bull head truck out, and I took the Losi XX-T and the TB-02, for a bit of off and on road action.
talk about MUD! damn. the track was being worked on that morning and as a result we had some mud sections to try to avoid (which seemed difficult!)
on-road was fun, came off a few times smacking right into a fence, pole, whatever. otherwise, was great and after a few laps got the hang of the track and started to go a bit harder. I can -definately- see the requirement for some sway bars and harder springs on my TB-02. maybe also the underbody chassis plate. Foam tyres, sit battery lower in the chassis and maybe a new body shell. *sigh*.
what else is on the shopping list? FM radio gear (crystalless), new batt charger, more tyres/wheels, more batteries. doh.

Competition racing starts at Ryper on Jan the 16th. I wont be there (motorvation is on), but racing is then every sunday from then onwards. I hope to head down there and race a bit if anyone is interested...
They race onroad stock, novice, 19turn, TL-01 and pro (i think), they race off road buggy 2wd, buggy 4wd, and truck 2wd.
