06 r/c stuff

a new year, and.... crank R/C !! haha

this morning I actually did some r/c tech. I havent really touched any of my off-road stuff since the Rocky interclub. my XXX4 is exactly as I took it off the track. Just then I gave it a little clean, removed the motor, dismantled the motor, realised i had no motor spray and then walked out of the garage.

doh.

Anyway, hopefully give it a run this Friday night at WC. Also hopefully get the tamiya mini to Ryper for some warming up ready for the new season! yay.

I've come to realise how much stuff I need to get a hold of to get upto racing level again.. tyres, batteries, etc... damn.

This year I'll also have Jai out racing with us... it will be his first yr of racing, no doubt he will love it! He's got my Losi BK2 to play with, and a touring car to race on-road if he so desires..

cant wait to start some racing again!!

Happens every new year to me...I dont touch the RC over xmas, then I get back into it and realise how much cash I gotta drop to get started :(

This year aint too bad!! Crawler needs completion, and thats about it for me ;)

I'm there too, I need stick packs! 2 of my cars only take Stick packs so it's a bit of a drag after I spent some big $$ on decent side by sides! That and I want to have the TA05 set up nicely in the next month or so, hop ups etc. As for tyres, lol well yes, need them too!
