Hi,
Just saying g'day. Me and my mate have jumped on the drift bandwagon and ordered two Pro4's from the US. Currently we just drift my tamiya tb01 rally on pvc. Tried tape at first which was cool. Haven't decided which we prefer yet. Both have their merits. Will try source some ABS when shops open again.

youve ordered HPI pro4's for drifting? I love my drifting, but no offence, Pro4's arent for drifting, they are for on road racing. thats a serious r/c bit of kit.

I'd be more inclined to stay tamiya or go yokomo for drifting. the HPI stuff is for real racing....

BUT im sure you could set it up just right for drifting regardless. HPI's arent cheap to fix when you bang them up either!

ozD1rc (on this site) is starting to make/manufacture some good ABS type drift tyres... stay tuned as he should have them soon for sale!

i agree with james that the HPI's will be a bit over tha top and are more for road racing than drift but each to their own..... as for the abs... speak to ozd1rc before you do anything, im sure for a small price and a few days he can make you something up.

Oh I'm definately sure that Pro4's are way over the top for drifting. But we got them for $350 a piece including shipping! My tamiya cost that much!!!

There was no way we could justify anything else.

In its defence, it is a super stiff, slop free chassis. which is a great bonus.

I have scowered the net for info on the Yoke drifters. I haven't heard anything at all to justify getting one, especially if I have to pay more.

mate for the price i can understand why you got them... crazy not to. when you have them up and sliding just put up a post or wait to see when we have a drift day.
