Next bash. Where do we wanna go?

I need to get more video of the trucks (not 4 minutes worth total!) Harder to work with a small amount of video. That and it doesn't seem to matter what I do, I can't keep the LST guys happy ;)

I would like to try Wangara as those large sand cliffs need to be jumped off!

Need some ideas guys!

what about the rocla quarry in the gnangara pines, it is a bit of a mission to get there but you need a 4x4 or motorbike but it is a wicked spot. huge and i do mean huge dunes and jumps, all natural terrain but you could have a wicked arvo.

Sounds like a bit to far to walk that place m8.. need somewhere we can just set up next to the cars with some shade for I C LOBSTER...

dont get too excited about hitting that ramp. to stay on the concrete down ramp requires barely any throttle.

also, the kids are a major problem. i think they are always there.

And bullcreek has kids which we don't need....

yeh, bull creek is one of the better tracks around but the kids suck. im pretty sure if you had a sizeable group, say 6-8 people then you could even it out and get a fair share of the track.

also, theres a skate park just down the road from the BMX track if your daring enough to hit the concrete ramps up.

ho guys i bash at the Gilford track often with a few others from Ausrc... It is a great spot but the jumps are not forgiving the jumps are about 6foot high... But its great fun, Bullcreek is just around the coner for me as well... im up for a bash ....

Off to do a major rebuild for tomorrow to the LST wish me luck I'm gonne need it to make it tomorrow....then I have gone and uped mt nitro to 25% from 20% and last I remeber it was running wayyyy hot. So it'll be tune tune tune tomorrow.

I'm out for the next month or so while i find parts for the TNX. The muffler is smashed and so are the rear shocks. Went into Standbriges and perthRC today with cash and they couldnt help me at all.

So looks like Im waiting for parts off the net. BB dont hold the smart temp for me, if you havent sold it in a month or so let me know and I'll still buy it.

Looks like everyone is out of the bash tomorrow with broken trucks... It's only me left out of who survived today....

We got some great video footage of everyone going hard... stylux with he buggy doing some unbelievable distance jumps ( the biggest of the day !!! )...

And then bb with hes revo decided he wasn't about to be outdone by the LST's again, and started launching he's revo until it exploded :p .. bb went hard and did some of the best distance jumps with some great backflips as well...

A few of the new team adrenaline members turned up with savys and a revo.. all went hard and ended up on the list of broken trucks which grew throughout the day....

And the LST.. well what can we say... other than it backflipped / it flew like tarzan into the tree branches... and it SURVIED !!! to be ready by tomorrow for more bashing... no hobby store needed to fix this baby bb... just a few screws and we are up up and away again.... !super

My vote has to go to bb for the day tho..

Dam he lunch that revo with it's new big block engine into some ridiculous distance jumps and the best backflips of the day... 10/10 for effort !!! even if the revo did break every 10 min.... !lmao]hehe !picsorban

hey ..propane .. thanks for the heads up ( its slylux not stylux ) .. early DNF's put me out and into cameraman for the late afternoon .. nothin but troubles for me .. but easily fixed .. the revo i just built has new diff gears , and they are not the same as stock ones , so they req to be shimmed differnt .. well i found that out late .. as i shimmed as per traxxas specs .. so that is what went rong with revo .. the buggy just broke a rear shock .. got heaps at home .. maybe i should of brought em , and i could of kept bashing .. ..ohh well next time .. still lots more hot summer weekends to come .. seya next time ... ( cant wait for BB to post the vid .. )

The cleaning cycle begins. I know some people just spray their trucks down, but my thinking - that just moves the dirt further into the truck.

Full rebuild has commenced, replacing all bearings and putting in the new diffs/housings.

Engine mount has completely disintegrated into 9 pieces (instead of the usual 2)

It'll be ready for next weekend :)

I was thinking if anyone has a camping bbq we should do sausage sizzle at the next bash, then whoever breaks their truck first can fire it up haha. everyone should just pitch in 2 bucks and you could bash all day, with food.

These bashes seem t get better each time. i think they have earned the title of bash-fests rather than bash days.

bbq good idea, i have a wittle portable webber we may be able to use, but it got no gas in tha bottle atm, adding to propane's &quot;shade&quot; i also got a big very strong (very expensive $1000) steel portable shade cover thingie.
as for next weeks bash my savy wont be ready in time but i'll be there with my digital video camera to be camera man.

My motor is on it's way back to modelflight to see if they wanna do a swap. Cos I have chewed another collet out this arvo after running it and somethings amiss in the motor. I suspect it is Something to do with the conrod cos at the top of it's stroke it sort of clicks around in the pinch point....kinda wierd to explain.

Anyway all should be good by the time I get back from Melbourne I hope!
