Thanks guys, it's nice to hear possitive feedback. Most of the time the complainers speak louder than the guys that had a great time. Sometimes Dave thinks he is running a snack shop that alson sells modle car parts on Sundays!!!

Had a drive belt go AWOL, a front rim decide to come off the hub and wobble like a b.. every time I cornered, and a spur gear shit itself, not to mention one too many off road excursions and a nasty case of bumper car fever, still getting used to the one way I spose. But hey, still finish 2nd in 540 for the day (how I have NO IDEA!)

nexx, try getting off the throttle when your approaching another car, or learning to drive around them. :) it works and reduces frustration in other drivers of getting whacked by you all the time ;)
Chen, step it up man! 15 laps with my silver can! 16 laps this sunday I'm thinking!!! hahaha

It's all a learning curve, I got better with it as I progressed, the only real way to learn is practice, when 540 class usually only has 3 runners, it's a bit of a difference when you suddenly have 6, and a lot are only running 12-13 laps so you have to learn how to overtake / lap people. But hey, I'll keep at it :)

try running stock with 9 people like last weekend! courtesy is the key, i think the most courteous drivers are Mat and Kyle, both are happy to go that little bit wider however when approaching them make the line make it obvious you are on the inside, Nexxus you were gunning straight for people :-) I have never seen one person have so many problems in the 540 class it doesnt help that there are a lot of begginers but try and avoid them where possible will probably make a better driver aswell, no matter what level though accidents always occur so dont stress to much.
I had an appaling weekend it was slipping everywhere, first time on 4 race meets i didnt hit an 18 lapper! got dave to have a look at it and the droop was just miles out!!! went back on with it when he finished and it felt HEAPS better, too much too late though :-(
Man i have the racing bug!

I think it was a case of trying too hard, I was so determined to pull a 16 lapper, I was thinking I should stick to my line etc etc and didn't give any ground. Note to self, play nice :)
