I think I'll leave the motor stock for a while. saw mod where you can add three cells to the already four cells for more grunt. ryper has a purpose built mini-T track, there's no way in hell you could run on it with the mamba hahaha.
see how it goes.

I saw they were going cheap. Very tempted to get one just to make use of this Team Orion Big Block motor I got lying around.....But then I saw that there was a Pro version coming out which I think I might wait for

the pro ver has been out in the usa for ages. god knows if / when it will get here. i was waiting for it too, but got too itchy. besides, half the fun is hopping it up yourself :)
pro comes with MIP dogbones, lunsford turnbuckles, bearings, and oil filled shocks. regular version comes with reciever, esc, radio, ready to go instantly... heh. i'll hop it up a little bit as I go I spose.... $199 is damn cheap, and they are offering a free rechargable battery with it. score

I'm sick of modding cars. My wallet has been through waaay too much trauma over the years. I guess though, you don't really NEED that extra stuff on a micro size rc.
Is it true you can fill the stock shocks with oil and they work fine?
Where did you get it from to get the free batt?

modelflight.com.au, good price, and free batt.
I'll do some hop-up's on it, but probably wont go too crazy unless stuff is breaking. the standard shocks cant be oil filled.
I ordered the oil set, it was only about $40
should arrive this week, yay
