Ryper has now started their racing season as of Sunday just passed.

Racing 1/10 on-road (several classes) and 1/10 offroad (buggy, 4wd buggy, truck).

They also have a Mini-T track and if there's enough interest will run mini-T racing too.

I'm keen to get down there on sundays and get into the action. I've joined Ryper as a member which gives me discount in the store and for track hire and race days.

I'll probably head down this sunday just to take a look and help out marshalling until I can get my r/c vehicles back on the road! they all need parts hahaha.

I went to Ryper this arvo around 3pm for a bit of a practice, put in my 2nd battery and went for a run only to find no motor workies. I thought, great, another motor (I've melted two recently). After closer inspection the bushes in the reedy were dead. had enough for the day so came home, pulled motor and replaced bushes, lucky i have a spare set, coz they are laydown coregated. Put them in, away she goes.

Racing it tommorow at 10am, will see how it all goes!

Mate I'm talking about my Team Losi XX-T truck.

NOT the mini-T :)

I did melt the stock mini-T motor after three and a half battery packs, back to back, no stopping. My own fault really. The stock mini-T motor is worth about $4.95 from the shop hahahaha. so it's no prob.

I've been tuning the 1/10 Losi XX-T for racing, thats what this thread is about :)

Mini-T racing starts in a few months at Ryper!! (during wet season), it's indoors, etc. they are extending the track for the season and also building a new 1/18th indoor on-road track! awesome. cant wait to race the mini-T ! haha

Was that my old Reedy, James, or did you get another one for the truck??

yeh mate I've got the reedy in the truck. ive found i gotta go down from 20tooth to 17tooth though. it runs fckn hot. so no more racing till pinion is sorted. Ideally I need 13turn for the truck. eventually.. yeh. Also want an orion core stock or simular for the TB-02 for some novice class fun. maybe. racing three r/c is going to be costly. may stick to two r/c... also plan a 2WD buggy this year. so i can race off-road buggy 2wd, and truck. was considering 4wd buggy but everytime i see em out playing they break stuff, coz they are weak.. haha
