Ok, its time to have some fun with our new thread

Whats your worst crash?

Heres mine (after flying for about a month). I was flying around about 1.5 metres off the ground quite happily. The heli was hit by a small gust of wind, but being so light, cause it to wander off-course. I tried to correct, but unfornunately befor I could I hit a patio pole, and the heli came down like a ton of bricks.

Damage: Split tail shaft, cracked rear rotor, and popped the main rotor off the bearings.

Heli crashes always look so spectacularly bad, even when they're quite minor :D
i accidently nudged my throttle trim up the other day, and when things were getting a bit hairy, i went to lower the heli from the sky... nothing. it kept whizzing along sideways at waist height, tipped over & crunched into the road, then precided to thrash and bounce around on the ground untill i worked out why the hell the rotors wouldnt stop.

nothing broke :P

gust of wind got ya hey?

that happened to my twin rotor once, but it didn;t get stuck it just crashed into the tree, then into the ground :P

had a nice crash on the weekend, 10-15m in the air lost it and down she came.
