Was in Canberra last Saturday hobby shopping as usual. Managed to find a little time to stop by the track for a look
First race i saw 1/10th Nitro touring, pleased me. I thought that even i could keep up. So next time i may enter.
Second i saw, the guys were much quicker. Then i recognised one of the cars, Oz Champ Darryn Campbell in a Serpent 710.
Wow, cant he drive!
Then
I notice another car, so amazingly smooth, hit the same points on the track, lap after lap. He looked slow, but lapped everyone. Looked at the drivers stand and saw it was 1/10th electric world champ Surikhan.
If anyone gets the chance to see a world champ in action, take it. Its an amazing thing to watch
