Hello all .

This is really just an opening message to introduce myself to this group .

My name is Adam and i have been involved in RC gear since i was 6 ( im now 31 ) and have pretty much been addicted since but went off the scales when i started working and found i had money to play with ( instead of saving as you do ) My fist 3 paychecks went towards a Tamyia Bruiser .

I recently bought an RC truck off azzachaz on ebay ( which im totally wrapped in ) and he introduced me to this forum .

Ive been a huge collector of RC and still have that original first toy that started me off 25 years ago . Ive been a seller on ebay for the last 4 or so years but due to lying and sneaky competition , ive stopped selling there now as millions have now jumped on the bandwagon ( well only selling the officially licensed stuff as apposed what everyone else sells ) and have started a business down here in Melbourne called ag warehouse where we import planes cars boats helis and soon to arrive RC hang gliders . Its been going for about 6 months and is pretty strong selling to the local toys stores and we are on container 5 arriving on 24th Feb ~ . Now that Christams is over we will see if we still run strong as the next few months will be the moment of truth .

Dont know what else to pretty much say at this stage as i dont know anyone but if you do see me online , please feel free to chat as im always open for a chat on RC .

Thanx for reading and i hope to hear from you soon .

Adam .

gday adam, what a beaut intro.

i am very overwhelmed to read about all of the bloody cars you own! its beyond amazing!!

breifly on the ebay thing, i must say that surfing through ebay is a pain in the arse at the moment because the Cars section of Remote Control is flooded with plastic crap cars from online shops which are useful to no one. and, its the same crap being advertised over and over.

it sounds like you are REALLY into remote control and its excellent to have someone like yourself who has such an interest on this site.

will we see you here as a regular? im sure the boys here are always looking for things to buy/purchase/upgrade/spend money on (ha-ha). even though you are wholesale, can you sell to the general public or members of a forum you might visit regularly? ;)

How are you Matt .

Yeah buddy , ill definately be a regular but due to the hours , i get home bout 11 to midnight and am ussually on after that pretty much 5 nights a week .

With regards to the ebay stuff from China , mate , ive got nothing to hide in telling you its the same stuff that i import and wholesale ( as a registered business ) , in fact there are 3 guys on there that buy off me and when you say its a pain in the arse surfing ebay at the moment , i totally agree with you on it 100% . Its absolutely flooded and it totally shits me to tears as well and the parts that really get me going ( 1 of about 20 points ) is for example the 1:6 scale f1 cars , i stock those and i will be totally honest in telling you and all that are reading that their top speed is only 26kph on a full charge( i bought a radar gun few years back ) the part that shits me is ALL these bulk sellers ( who think they are businesses ) claim stupid speeds of 40 - 45 kph , 1 dickhead actually said it does 60kph and when i emailed him to find out where he got that speed , he said they followed it with a real car and clocked it that way ( which is absolute crap and impossible for that car unmodified and modified for that matter as it is not designed to hit that speed ) .

They lie through their ass to make a sale and i wouldnt so i went the other avenue and stopped on ebay and started selling locally to toy stores as a result and 5 containers down shows its all good .

It is all Chinese hard plastic toys and most of them are great for the people that just want to take it out every now and then to have a bash but as i said to you in another email Matt , there is no way we can compare them to Tamyia or Kyosho so im definately not 1 of those people from ebay who thinks their products are the best ..... which also refers to the people there selling the pocket bikes ... lol .

Were just out to supply toy stores with some cheaper items that pretty much everyone can afford with the low maintanance as apposed to the higher priced RC gear . About 20 returns out of over 2900 items is an excellent record over the last 6 months .

Anyway , ive been reading through allot of threads here tonight and ebay is mentioned allot so i might point people like yourself Matt that havnt done too much on ebay to this following link i created a few months back .

This link is totally free , has no pop ups , does not need you to register or make passwords , does not advertise any links whatsoever and does not sell anything .

Its just 7 points ive created so that people can actually sit back and think a bit more before bidding as there are too many sharks out there now very eager to take your money .

Go to the following link if you want free info on buying from ebay , it will save allot of hassles if your new :

http://www.rctoyland.com/ebay_sharks.htm

Anyway , sorry if im coming off here a bit negative but im far from it . As long as i have my toys , im happy ... lol . Im open for any suggestions and can take critisism ( even though i cant spell it properly ) so if you agree / dis-agree , please let me know as im not 1 eyed at all . This is a forum and the way i see it im here to offer advice but also learn as i dont know everything but with the brain power of everyone here there will be allot to learn .

Thanx for listening and please read up on those points if your buying from ebay .

Ill catch you all tomorrow and thank you for the intro replies tonight .

Adam .

uploading pictures - yes.

the menu on the top left hand side has a "Gallery" link.

the gallery even creates thumbnails and resizes your originial pic so there is no need to worry on picture size.
