This weeks purchases

Since I decided to keep my Savage, I've been bashing it to within an inch of its life.

Well after tearing my Savage down, and assessing what needs replacing and maintenance, I ordered a pile of parts.

I just received the following from overseas:

2x HPI Shaped Exhaust Gasket 21 Size (original was torn and leaking)
2x Associated Silicone Shock Oil 35 Weight (oil was contaminated)
HPI Roll Bar Savage (original was bent)
HPI Differential Case Set (diff cases were chewed out)
2x RC TriX 40% Shock Springs set Yellow (one stock spring bent)
2x HPI GT5 Wheel Black Savage Pair (pair of rims cracked
2x Pro-Line Maxx Paddle Front/Rear Truck Tires Pair (one tyre was torn)
MIP Replacement Clutch Spring MP-5/MP-6 (snapped clutch spring)
HPI 4 Bevel Gear Diff Conversion Set Savage (to strengthen the diffs)
HPI Spur Gear 49T Savage SS (stripped gear)

Locally, I've ordered a new shock parts tree, cos I lost one of the spring retainers, and a new set of lower hinge pins...cos the front ones resemble bananas!!

Eventually everything will be replaced by stronger parts, but for now I just want to get it all perfect :D

I gotta see the savage in action. you know there's some wild dunes near me you'd just love... paddle tyres you say? <grin> CARNAGE ON DUNES ! AIR AIR ! footage would rock too... nice

Once its up and running, you'll see as much paddle tyre dune action as you want....and if u got the vid, I got the action ;)

If I can sell the Kyosho, the Savage will have a fresh motor and even more cool parts :D
