And mallets so we can dismantle the uncompleted ramp.
You don't need mallets for that. It's so unstable a two year old can knock down those bricks

Yup, i've gotta give big thanks to all those who came and helped.
Special thanks to Tim Dooley who pretty much coordinated all the works and put in an awesome amount of time and effort into the track. Not just over this past weekend but all the time.
Thanks also to John Apeldoorn as well, for organising the clay and loads of other things. Pretty much single handedly built a new fence with only 7 or 8 people watching! hehe
Plus of course the others, Darren Hillary for his always hard work, Geoff Stone and Michael Gaull who were there for pretty much 3 days straight (the works started friday afternoon). Both put in an astounding amount of hard work, and the club is very appreciative of the work that these new members have put into their club.
Thanks must also go to Mike Wallace and his crew (Dennis, Darren etc) for supplying some machinery and of course time and effort, Nathan Hodder for his track knowledge, plus James Bostock, Matt Riley, Nigel Macey, All of the Brown Family Helen Gary and Chris for their work and bbq skills.
There are more people who's names unfortunately escape me at the moment and i sincerely apologise for not listing you by name.
A big thanks to everyone who came to help!
This weekend we'll be rolling it more and putting the finishing touches on, so if anyone wants to help, as always it will be greatly appreciated.
A big thanks guys.

I would personally like to thank the 26 members of our club that came down and gave a hand over the 3 days, some who gave up their time for all 3 days to help out.Special mention to the people that I don't think are club members that put in their own time to help out.For a club with just over 50 members and then half of them devoting their time is outstanding.
Special thanks from me goes to Tim who co-ordinated the whole exercise.
Thanks to Kennards Hire for the great deal on the machinery, Little Loads for organizing the clay, the bobcat operator and mini exacavator- tractor "Bloke"(not sure of their names}
Unfortunately the track did not get completed on the week-end and further work will be happening this week-end. Anybody who can spare some time would be greatly appreciated.

So I take it, no racing on 16/6/06?
I know racing has been stopped for winter, but comments were made last weekend that we may be able to race. A wee bit optimistic?

The track isn't quite finished, we have some more clay coming, and still need to do the compacting. We were hoping to do it this weekend but can't get everything, so it'll be another week or 2 before it's finished.
And don't hassle stoney, it's the closest he'll get to a modelling career :P
