take it anyway, and when no one's looking, unleash the fury and mash up some 1/10 buggies with it. hahaha

its a normal race meet @ the Ashfield track on Moojebing Rd, in Ashfield/Bayswater. its this friday night, racing starts at 7.

whats special about this one is that im flying to perth for it.

im located in sydney, but i will be in perth this weekend and thought it would be awesome to rock up and have a night of racing, and since people here who only hack their cars might like to try racing but have never had that helping hand to guide them - this is your chance.

so, this friday night (11th FEB), moojebing reserve, moojebing road (behind the Light Car Club rooms), racing at 7 so be there for 6.

I'm *this* close to buying an electric buggy just so I can race...but nah, I'll stick with my Nitros ;)

Whats it worth to race, might get the mrs to bring her Tamiya Truck down for some racing, might put my 8 turn and ESC in for a laugh...

I ain't racing my baby. I know it'll get beaten up for sure and I'm still not sure how long I'll keep it before re-selling, so gotta take care of it.

prefix: i dont know the cost to race but i dont think it will be more than $10. im bringing $20 - whatever change is left over is what i will use to buy a drink and some food on the night

ive called the phone number on their website http://www.westcoastmodelrallyclub.asn.au/ however the dude didnt answer his mobile and i have left a message. im going to ask some basic questions and will report back with the details as soon as i get them.

dont worry about these excuses boys. tyres or no tyres. ESC or no ESC, we're not going there to race for who-has-the-biggest-penis, we're going to rock up, race in the races and have a load of fun and maybe learn a thing or two on how to make a car faster or handle better. night racing r0x4rs the big one.

If you're not racing for 'who-has-the-biggest-penis', then what's the point? I'm definately not coming :D

Jokes aside, I'll endeavour to rock up and have a look. I've been there once to watch the onroad nitros and it was kinda boring. I wanna see hardcore hacking! (as long I'm not involved)

RACING THIS FRIDAY NIGHT, details are:

Moojebing Reserve, Moojebing Road, Baystwater.

Rego's are are 7, i am arriving at 6. I have a blue 1/10th scale off road buggy and I will be with James who will be running a white 1/10th scale stadium truck.

First time racing is free, so this means it will not cost anything to race for this night. there are 4 races for each class, all of us who rock up will be in Novice class and this should ease everyone and not have them think they're going to be required to drive like pro's. not the case at all.

to bring:
your car / your charger / your battery
a fold out table (not required, but real handy)
a chair to sit on
a lamp of some sort would be handy
basic tools (screw driver, tamiya wrench, etc)

what they have:
a canteen for food and drinks
240v power
lighting (but they are short some fluros)

if you come, it will be an awesome friday night. if you dont, you can read about it here on saturday.

here is a map to the track....
