Is this a good price?

Hey everyone,

I've been offered a HPI Nitro MT, with a Futaba 2ER stick radio, fuel, glow igniter, etc....for 200 bucks.

From what I've been told, its hardly been used, and every time they take it out, the engine ends up dieing and never works properly.

The only thing I can find wrong with it is the stock motor is a bit low on compression, which is either a leak somewhere, or the motor is worn through bad break in and maintenance.

Good buy or not?

Well, a rebuild is 75 bucks....a new motor is about double that.

A new Nitro MT2 can be had for about 550-600 RTR, so I rekon less than half price isnt too bad.

*UPDATE* I actually ended up screwing em down to 150, so thats even better!

Now that I've bought a new motor for my Sav, I'm still not sure whether I'm buying this.

If I dont end up buying this buggy, you can buy it if you like....its in MINT condition, apart from the motor of course. I'll try and get some photos up.
