HI guys. i goin to get a new shell for my TT01 soon i was just wondering what size should i be lookin at 190mm or 200mm.

Also i want to get a better motor for my car? any suggestion for around 40-50 bucks?? just sumthin a bit better than standard to use with a MSC. i dont understand what the turn of the motor means??

You'll need a 190mm shell for your TT-01.

Can I also recommend that you look at upgrading your MSC to an ESC before you change the motor??? Its a more worthwhile upgrade, and I dont recommend using a mechanical speed control with an upgraded motor.

The turns of the motor indicate how many turns of wire there are around the armature. The lower the number of turns, the faster the car will be, but the less bottom end the car will have. A higher turn motor will have a lot more torque down low, which is perfect for drifting.

Yeah get an ESC before anything. But, if you want a cheap motor, RMS have venom fireballs for less than 30bux. If anything goes wrong with them....just throw 'em away and buy a new one!

hmmm k thanks guys. i dont really wanna buy a esc just yet.

do u guys know if there is much difference between a standard tamiya 540 motor and the sports tuned one?? is it worth gettin for a bit of extra speed??

I've got a sports tuned motor, it's still slow and crap :)
