Bought a new charger today. It's a Chargetronic by Sun-Ji. Julz from RMS recommended it to me so I took his advice.

It makes a lot of annoying beeping sounds/songs, luckily you can turn it off.

Umm....you can charge at up to 5A. It's AC and DC! Has a 10 model memory for different batts. Two line dot matrix screen. Lots of useful information displayed on it. I don't know how to use it though....The most I've ever had to do is push a button to charge a battery.

Sticker price is $195 (hahahaha). Got it for $111.

Also picked up a Venom Fireball 15t motor. Chucked it in my buggy with a pinion that is 6teeth too small, but it still flies!

No 3000MaH Venom batts in stock :(

Julz said he'll get more venom batts when he orders more venom stuff. He has no idea when that will be. I guess if more people hassle them, then he can make up an order.

I checked out the Hobbyco website and they have stock and it works out cheaper to order from there. I think my pretend order came to 73bux or something for two (incl shipping).

He recommended the charger, and he's about the only guy I trust at any of the shops since Chris disappeared from Perth RC. It looks like it'll do as good a job as any good charger. Doesn't discharge, but that's ok cos I'm moving to NiMH batts.

Some suppliers wont supply you unless you can provide a picture of your shop front IE they dont want you doing internet stores, and you have to buy 10-15 grand of stock up front!

Ive got the same charger. Had it for about a year. Bought 2nd hand but worked flawlessly.

You can have I think 9 preset charge setups so I have a setup for my Car batteries and I used to have a setting for my Heli NiMhs also. The display is quite good and shows you charging current and other stff. Never really read the manual, but I believe you can get some idea of the whole charge process after the charge is complete.
