RACING THIS FRIDAY NIGHT, details are:

Moojebing Reserve, Moojebing Road, Baystwater.

Rego's are are 7, i am arriving at 6. I have a blue 1/10th scale off road buggy and I will be with James who will be running a white 1/10th scale stadium truck.

First time racing is free, so this means it will not cost anything to race for this night. there are 4 races for each class, all of us who rock up will be in Novice class and this should ease everyone and not have them think they're going to be required to drive like pro's. not the case at all.

to bring:
your car / your charger / your battery
a fold out table (not required, but real handy)
a chair to sit on
a lamp of some sort would be handy
basic tools (screw driver, tamiya wrench, etc)

what they have:
a canteen for food and drinks
240v power
lighting (but they are short some fluros)

if you come, it will be an awesome friday night. if you dont, you can read about it here on saturday.

I'm running a stadium truck... Losi XX-T.

the XXX is a nice truck. or perhaps Team Associated RC10T4 also nice. anything is good for starting out!

the losi and the team associates are mid to high end, this is more an entry level for starting out and wont cost loads for a rolling car...

I'm not going unless RC_King is going :P

My real excuse:
Just asked my missus if she'd like to come, but she's just worked a 60+ hour week (seriously) and it hasn't been good so she's kinda pissed off and tired. So, (even though she told me to go), I'm choosing to stay home and keep her company to try cheer her up....*awwww*.....

My missus has gone to sleep already (9:20pm) which is fair enough since she's been up since 3am. I wonder if the races are still on....

racing was wicked, three rounds and a final..

I placed 2nd in first race, 2nd again, 1st ! then 2nd in the final!

wicked....

radio/car problems plague'd matto during the night :( it was team adrenaline all the way for the first race though! hehehe much fun! gotta get a quicker motor in the truck. still went real well. happy with my new JR radio gear too! nice
