Hi guys
West Coast Model Rally club has been asked by the Bassendean council to host a race at their community expo on sunday 5th november this year.
It would be a grass race, similar to the Autumn River Festival earlier this year, where we had LOADS of public spectators, was great exposure for the hobby.
It would be great to run, but obviously before we say yes, we need to know whether drivers would be interested in running in it. West Coast would run it as probably a pro-am event or similar, and would put up trophies and perhaps prizes.
It is a week after the WAORMA challenge which is scheduled for 29th october i think at Carine. We're trying to find out whether this will be happening as scheduled with carines new commitee. If not we may use this event as the waorma challenge. It's still theoretical at the moment, but if we can get a show of hands of people interested, it'd help us decide if we can run it or not.
