I no this is not RC related but the organisers of this event desperately need about 10 Officials to be Spectator Marshals for this weekends event. Below is a copy of a email I received in regards to the event and more information can be found at their web site: www.targawest.com.au
So if anyone is interested and can help out PLEASE dont hesitate to contact Barbara on the address below and dont forget this will be your chance to also watch the Great Peter Brock and a host of other Australian personalities and a few local rally heros as well.

Quit Targa West is here. Motorsport at your doorstep. Targa West is a tarmac rally run on public roads attracting competitors from over East including Peter Brock, Glenn Ridge and Grant Denyer.
Do you want to be a part of it? We are desperately looking for Officials in the form of Spectator Marshals for this Saturday and Sunday. You don’t need to have “experience”, you will simply be lifting tape and keeping spectators out of the way. You do need to have patience in dealing with the public. We will provide you with licensing via CAMS, as well as any necessary briefing.
What’s in it for you? A chance to be a part of a fast growing sport. And get up close to the action. Oh, and a free shirt! You will need to be out at Muchea on either or both days by 8.30am at a nominated point (TBA). You will be finished by 2.00pm on both days – enough time to get home for footy fever.
