just download fms bazz , personally 1 of the best without spending $300 .

FMS is free just google it .

As far as the transmitter joystic goes , ive bought heaps off this bloke for my mates :

http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Esky-RC-Helicopter-Flight-Training-Simulator-w-USB_W0QQitemZ180012987223QQihZ008QQcategoryZ110026 QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

Delivery is about 8 days but all of them have arrived safely .

Just remembered , if you buy this controler , it comes with fms anyway so no need to download it .

If you want to spend $300 - $350 , the best heli sim available is called Real Flight G3 . Ive got this and can definately vouch for its accuracy but as i said its not cheap . One of its great features as well is that you can go to your flying field and take like 10s of photos at eye level doing a 360 turn and then install it into the software and it will make 1 panoramic shot of your flying field and use it as youe landscape for flying your heli and let me tell you , if you take excellent clear shots , its sensational .

dont worry rb got it sussed, is there way that you can plugg in your transmitter , and get to use it with that sim

theres a sim called " Pre Flight " that allows you to use your own transmitter but then you need adaptors and the mob that make it charge like $40 for the adaptor and software ... pre flight is no where near the accuracy either IMHO .

Dont think you can use your own transmitter for FMS but never looked into it deeply .

Just google " Preflight or pre flight , adaptor , cable , ( and the model of your heli ) " and you may find info on how to make the lead yourself .

I think youve got the twister heli and that has like a 9 pin keyboard plug on the back yeah ?

The Twister Bell 47 manual says the same thing but if you pull the plug off the cover for the trainer port there is nothing except a empty hole, mind you the manual also says it can be changed from mode 1 to mode 2 and vice versa and that it has servo reverse switchs on the front of the controller.

Nope, Dead set. I even opened the back cover to make sure it didnt fall in or something and there is nothing inside except a empty 4 pin connector on the circuit board. That might be where a trainer port may connect to but without a circuit diagram I cant be 100% sure.

Yep. Their both Twisters but the CP has the training port, its a S video type port. The one that is blank is the Bell 47 and came with seperate instructions from Model Engines as well as the instructions from J Perkins but the Model Engines instructions says it has all of the above but it doesnt.

I've contacted Model Engines and they promptly returned saying they cant help me and I have to contact J Perkins.

YOu know , this is something that really shits me about model engines and 95% of their resellers down here in Melbourne .

These Shops never want to hear about ebay , they never want to hear about stuff coming from China , they bag their competition import products like they have desease yet when you have a problem with their stuff , dealer has to send back to model engines ( fair enough ) MODEL ENGINES seem to reject claims after its been months of waiting and handball it back to the dealer and the dealer blames model engines and we get no where ( YES IVE BEEN COUGHT OUT SO CAN SAY THIS ).

I also have 2 hobby shops down here that i tried 3 weeks ago for a grub screw for 1 of my helis i bought OS . These stores are purely model engines stock so completely biased . I walked into 1 store , took in the heli , he said where did you buy it from , i told him the net and i just needed a grub screw that fell out over time , I swear , he goes " Dont even want to look at it " and he didnt . Drove down to the next shop , Walked in the door , and he goes " before the door closes behind you , take that piece of shit hei out with you " . I ended up going to bolt master and findsing very easily a grub screw for 55c . WTF is it with that and this is where my attitude towards 95% of model engines resellers somes to play , they cant handle the competition so will bag the **** out of you .

On the other hand , there is another store down here which i will name " Melbourne track and hobbies " in werribee , everytime ive had a problem with anything even nothing they sell or have ever stocked , i get help full on no issues and im not even on first name basis with these people .

Im very sorry but F**K Model engines and their overpriced shit , i can get better service from most ebay sellers . On another note , all their shits made in china anyway .

I know there will be hobby shops now reply to this in discust but hey , you want to defend your aussie distributed products and bag the shit out of ebay imports then you also have to cop shit from the consumers and what they really think cause model engines may have the manopoly on Australia atm but let me tell you , reality will be kikking in slowly slowly to keep their prices honest .

he doesnt sell fasteners, because theres no point paying an extra $5 for a screw that has FG packaging.

do u have "Mullings" in Vic, if u do, find them and go there, they have everything, just rock up, and ask for wateva u want, what size /length /tip of grub screw ect ect
