With the release of the Tamiya F350 fast approaching it seems that I am in the market for a new radio. Also on the shopping list for later this year is a Knight Hauler & a TXT-1 Crawler so these affect my choices.

I understand the most popular is the Futaba 4VWD but lets face it could it be anymore basic. I have been told that you need the trim slides to get the most out of the MFU on the trucks but none of the good radios have these.

So I need the best radio I can get in ground frequencies that will do everything on the trucks and still give me options to do all sorts of weird and wonderful mods to my crawler. The more channels the better and the ability to program buttons and channel mixing is important.

Give me you suggest and why

Thanks in advanced Chris

I'm not to sure if this would work but it has a few more channels than normal and you need that in the F350.

Looks nice RB. Budget is what ever it cost.
Can I get it in surface frequencies?
Have you used it with the MFU on a truck?
Is there any reason its not on the JR US site?

Pony, as the owner of 2 Kinghaulers, a Globeliner and a TXT-1 i find the Futaba attack 4wd systems good. All 3 of my rigs are fine with it, and one is running the full light & sound setup! As for crawling, i think the 4ch is enough to do wat you need. Of course this is my personal opinion but you are more than welcome to have a look and check it out for yourself.
