I've been frequenting the forums at this site for a while now, they have a good mini-z/iWaver community and is a good place to get info from when modifying your own car.

Well today I posted a link to this site in there main forum and there mini-z/iWaver forum telling them this was a cool place and that I had iWaver threads in the 'members rides' section.

Anyhow, the site owner (who sells mini-z parts also) got pretty upset and deleted all my posts, then left a thread in the main forum calling me a spammer and discrediting me as a seller and that I was ripping people off.

So instead of recommending this site to anyone I tell people to careful because this guy doesn't want anyone walking on his 'turf'.

I pretty much thought it was a 2-way street, traffic from this site to his and vise versa. Obviously not.

I have to admit I think a bit before I post on other sites. I dont go around posting this site url on other sites too much... or if I do I'm careful about it.

It's a shame that others feel that way. I have to admit it probably would have been better if you discussed it with the site owner first.. just in case. doh

now that you've mentioned ausmicro on our site, I'm just going to go and delete all your post.

!lmao

Basically I made a single post in two different sections saying we had a cool little community and they were welcome to come have a look. One in the main thread and one in the mini-z section.

I can understand that he is upset, like James mentioned above, but he has completely exploded leaving threads about me ripping people off.

The site itself is really good, I just wasn't expecting such a strong reaction to my posts. Very much the same content as I post here. Not really selling directly, just showing people what I have done with my cars and what they could get into too.

Without knowing the full contents of the threads posted on AusMicro its hard to comment subjectively.

I always try and be fairly carefull if referencing a competitive website on another forum. I am an admin on another RC forum and I sometimes get "report this message" from people who dont like to see people asking Questions about competitors products.

Yeah, I was in the wrong. Not being a site admin I failed to see how posting about my own products could affect other people.
Hopefully they can accept my apology and we can get back to talking about RC.

Azzachaz, you obviously don't understand that what you say about people on ANY forum can be read by the other party.

I see you relate events here vastly differently to how they actually unfolded.

OK
yesterday I made this thread while I was pissed off about what had happened (more at myself than anyone else)

What I did on the ausmicro:
I made 2 posts linking to the TA webby
I have made posts (2 or 3) linking directly to my ebay items.
I came back here and exaggerated about how they reacted

Now that I have thought about it I realise this is not acceptable behavour and will be more thoughtful before posting in the future.

I hope this doesn't mean ausmicro and TA cant have a good relationship in the future.

Maybe a mini-z drag race can decide who get to clip me over the back of the head first :)

3 Posts ;)

Seriously though as far as I was concerned we'd sorted it between us and that's where it should have stayed.

There's no problems with members of www.teamadrenaline.net being over at www.ausmicro.com just like I'm sure there's no problems with the reverse. It was an incident that occured at an individual and is both not uncommon, nor worthy of as much furore as it has created.

T-Cup, Storm in.

Seeing as you're Canberra based it'd actually be good to get together and say G'Day....
