Just got my iWaver. This will have to tide me over until mini-t's come back in stock at RMS.

So far, I have only lengthened the wheelbase to fit the Skyline body I got. I will see how it runs for a while before I add hop ups. I have the ball-diff, bearings and x-speed motor waiting to go into it. Will post results for each one as I do them.

Initial impressions are that their advertising point of "artistic packaging" reallsing stands true. I love it! Quality of the car and radio feel 'cheap', but I don't know how this compares to the real mini-z's. As far as I'm concerned, as long as nothing goes wrong, you can't beat the price!

While extending the wheelbase, I noticed the screws were very hard to tighten. They could have used larger screws, or even shorter ones to make it a bit easier. Currently, none of the new screws I installed are screwed tightly due to me not wanting to strip them or break anything.

Performance wise, car runs fast enough to take caution when driving inside. I'm using the 800mAh NiMH batts that azza sold me.

shell looks fantastic, car looks pretty damn good.

thumbs up from me for sure. I'd buy one but I'm committed to mini-T at the mo. I've got an addiction to off road, and getting "air"...

I reckon the motor hanging out under the back bumper looks phat :D

I'll get around to buying one of these things, one day, but at the moment I have the same Mini-T disease that James has caught ;)

Dunno why, but the car seems to turn left better than it turns right.....have to have a better look at it once Valentines day is over.

Sorted the steering. The tyres aren't glued and one was rubbing against the body and not letting it turn all the way.

Installed bearings. Much smoother now. Slightly quicker, but i'm still only stock.

Trying to figure out the ball diff now.....

Hey azza, here's a pic of my ball diff (sorry about the quality, phone cam job).

It's missing the bit where the arrow is pointing.

Ahhh... ok

that little collar that squeezes against the o-ring to adjust it.

I'll send you out a new piece.

Just installed the X-Speed motor. I didn't notice a huge acceleration improvement. Top speed seems a bit better, although I'm still running the smallest pinion.

I decided to change the wires as well. I used the thicker wire that comes with the Tamiya silver cans. Performance-wise, the car was a little nippier than before. Tomorrow I'll test it out on the driveway proper.

With a sharp squeeze of the throttle I can do little burnouts/drifts to turn my car quicker :P
