Just wondering if anyone can tell me why I have a heap on DNF's for Friday Night?
I mean, I know I am not that good but I did finish all the races. Is there a problem with the transponders...or the system...or am I so far behind I dont register? !dodge

No Boony, all the transponders in the rack have been tested and do work. Thats why there are 3 sets, not 4. We used the 4th to replace the few duds we did have.
DNF's usually come from not completing the final lap before the computer ends the race period, after having called the end of race.

Yeah, but if that is the case it should just list that I have 1 less lap...surely?!

no kb half of them dont work and DO need to be tested again.in the first 2 weeks i can recall atleast 2 ppl who had dnfs all night until the finals.they need to be tested again!
Only one transponder doesnt work at the moment, and we know which one it is. We will sort this out soon.
Kingbob (Rob) is right. In Aari's case, he is getting DNF's because he is taking too long to complete the last lap (and he's not entirely alone).
When the race has finished, the computer will give you 40 seconds to complete your lap and cross the line. Looking at Aari's first race, his best lap was 43.28 and average lap 47.71 so we can see that this is most likely what's happening
The 40 second last lap thing is only new, previously it was set to 30 seconds! Perhaps with the track being dusty/slippery we may have to review this again and stretch it out to 50 seconds, but, that may be a bit too long and take away the urgency to hurry up and finish that lap!!
Hope this helps explain Aari.
Matt.

Cheers Matt...yes it explains it all, it explains that I need to get a move on!! !super
Oh....and no-one needs to increase the urgency I feel to get to the line, just the drivers skills need to be incresed(mumbles about slow-ass beginners being mobile speed-humps and thinks about going back with the hackers to novice. !dodge ). Got any help for that, short of hiring the track for the afternoon/day/week(Month might help) !amazed :p
